Job summary

PACCAR Powertrain in Mount Vernon, WA, is seeking a Verification Engineering Project Coordinator to drive engine and aftertreatment verification programs. You’ll coordinate software releases, planning, and global stakeholder alignment to ensure program milestones and product quality.

The role requires strong engineering knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams across regions. Travel up to 10% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related technical field.
• 7+ years in automotive/powertrain engineering fields.
• Understanding of product development processes and project execution.
• Experience managing schedules, resources, dependencies, and risks.
• Experience coordinating technical projects and using Office and PM tools.
• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and coordination of engine and aftertreatment verification activities across multiple projects.
• Coordinate engine software/hardware releases to support verification and validation.
• Manage verification schedules, priorities, resources, and test cell availability.
• Coordinate defect triage and issue resolution with global engine teams.
• Ensure high-quality defect reporting and communications across teams.
• Facilitate reviews, meetings, and readiness assessments while tracking actions.
