The role is based in Dearborn and follows a day shift schedule. The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, and method development for emissions and fuel economy testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (required).
• 1+ years of experience in powertrain calibration, development and testing.
• Working knowledge of internal combustion engine concepts.
• Basic data analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in the design, deployment and start-up for engine test facilities.
• Project management to deliver quality, timing and financial objectives.
• Support powertrain development through detailed data analysis and test validation.
• Process development and optimization for test facilities and methodologies.
• Single point of contact for test room operations and troubleshooting support.
• Identify and implement operational efficiency opportunities.
• Develop test procedures, facilities and equipment to advance product development.
• Deliver compensation of departmental objectives and align with corporate goals.
