Amentum in Dearborn, MI, is seeking a Test Engineer to support dynamometer-based engine testing, development and durability projects. You will help ensure clear testing requirements, set-ups, and proper disposition of engines throughout tests.
The role is based in Dearborn and follows a day shift schedule. The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, and method development for emissions and fuel economy testing.
The Dearborn Engine Laboratory conducts dynamometer-based tests on gasoline and diesel engines. Test categories include engine development and durability, powertrain calibration, heavy-duty gas/diesel engine certification, and engine cooling system tests.
The Engine Laboratory Department’s Test Engineer interacts with requesting activities to ensure that their testing requirements are understood/documented and the engine set-up throughout testing and disposition of engine is a quality event.
This position is located in Dearborn, MI.

Work hours are Monday through Friday (7:00AM-3:30PM)
