Ford Motor Company is seeking an Engine Test Engineer in the Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering (PTME) organization. You will help build world-class powertrains, leading cross-functional programs to deliver new engine programs with high ROI.

Based in Dearborn with travel as needed, this role emphasizes data analytics, machine learning tools, and test software to improve production and warranty outcomes. This is a hybrid role with career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering required.
• Strong analytical ability and data-driven decision making.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Specify, procure, build, install and launch Powertrain Production Test Systems.
• Deliver standardized test processes across global strategies.
• Support leak, in-process, cold and hot tests.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering for feasible test solutions.
• Develop production test sequences and monitor function.
• Troubleshoot issues impacting FTT and warranty; implement corrective actions.
• Conduct equipment acceptance activities at OEM and Manufacturing Plants.
