Pro Staff in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Test Engineer to support engine performance development through hands-on dynamometer testing, data collection, analysis, and reporting. You will develop and execute test plans, collect data, and present results to cross-functional teams.

The role involves designing and executing dynamometer tests, monitoring data with instrumentation, analyzing results, and assisting calibration efforts. Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering; Master preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience with engine testing, combustion development, or calibration development.
• Knowledge of engine design, functionality, and performance systems.
• Familiarity with data collection, data analysis, and test instrumentation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and execute engine dynamometer test plans to validate performance and durability.
• Collect, monitor, and document test data using instrumentation systems.
• Analyze test results and identify performance trends and improvement opportunities.
• Process test data and prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for engineering teams.

Pay Rate: $42.31/hour

We're seeking a Test Engineer to support engine performance development through testing, data collection, analysis, and reporting. As a Test Engineer, you'll support engine performance and durability testing by developing and executing test plans, collecting and analyzing data, and reporting results to cross‑functional teams.

Job Duties
