Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer to join the Engineering team to develop and launch processes for safety, quality, delivery, and cost across NM, NNM, and adaptation programs. This role supports North America powertrain with battery tray/frame, casting, components, engine, and transmission programs.

The position covers cost studies, RFQ sourcing, design, manufacturing, and installation activities, and drives standardization across plants in MI, IN, OH, MX, and ON while

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED with 3 years engineering experience
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Strong oral, written, presentation and organizational skills
• Ability to translate technical data into executive summaries
• Cross-functional teams experience in powertrain manufacturing
• Knowledge of cost studies and strategic planning
• Microsoft Office intermediate/advanced

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments for process changes and related investment requirements for cost studies
• Understand RFQ scope, sourcing, and installation of air/mist/coolant collectors and filtration
• Support NM/NNM programs to meet schedule and budget
• Assist site preparation and machine installation for NM facilities
• Track and drive the Iron Triangle: scope, timing, cost
• Participate in Stellantis Production Way (SPW) deployment and root-cause problem solving
• Develop/improve process and equipment standards for facilities infrastructure
• Coordinate manufacturing plants across MI, IN, MX, ON, OH and drive standardization
