Job summary

Stellantis NV seeks a Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer - UPE to join an engineering team developing and launching processes for safe, high-quality, on-time, and cost-effective manufacturing across NM, NNM, and adaptation programs.

The role supports North America powertrain programs including battery tray/frame, casting, components, engine, and transmission; plant locations span MI, IN, ON, OH with responsibilities across site prep, machine installation, and standardization efforts.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED with minimum three years of experience in engineering or a related technical field.
• Ability to work and interact with all levels of the organization.
• Strong oral, written, presentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to translate technical data and analysis into an executive summary format for presentation in easily understandable formats.
• Ability to embrace cross-functional teams responsible for developing, specifying, building, and launching powertrain manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of advanced problem-solving skills and ability to manage data analysis to identify root causes and attack them to closure.
• Knowledge of cost studies and strategic planning.
• Microsoft Office intermediate or advanced knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Participate in developing and launching processes meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Support NM and NNM powertrain programs across plants and sites.
• Assess process changes and investment requirements for cost studies.
• Ensure on-time, within-budget completion of approved programs.
• Drive standardization across plants and regions.
• Apply SIS methodology and root-cause problem-solving tools.
• Develop/improve process and equipment standards for facilities.
• Coordinate site preparation and machine installation for NM programs.
• Support flow activities and track Iron Triangle (Scope, Timing, Cost).
