Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in North America powertrain operations. You will help develop and launch processes that meet safety, quality, delivery and cost goals for NM, NNM and adaptation programs, with sites in IN, MI and MX.

You will support manufacturing functions across battery tray/frame, casting, components, engine and transmission programs, drive standardization across plants, and contribute to SIS deployment and RC problem

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years of engineering or related technical field experience.
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization and communicate effectively.
• Experience translating technical data into executive summaries for presentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and launch processes meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives for NM, NNM, and adaptation programs.
• Support Manufacturing Engineering functions for NA powertrain battery tray/frame, casting, components, engine, and transmission programs.
• Drive standardization across plants and support SIS methodology deployment.
• Assess process changes and investment requirements for cost studies.
• Ensure programs are completed on time and within budget.
