Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Jasper, AL is seeking a Power Drive: 726 - Disassembly associate. You will use basic hand tools to disassemble units, verify BOM tags, remove bolts, oil pans, valve bodies, pumps and wiring, then clean parts for reassembly in a climate controlled environment.

You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for a full shift, and operate handheld tools such as impacts, pneumatic drills and hammers.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (approx. 8-10 hours).
• The ability to use handheld tools such as impacts, pneumatic drills, hammers.
• Standing: Continuously; Walking: Occasionally; Sitting: Never; Stooping: Occasionally; Reaching/Overhead: Occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble units by removing bolts, seals and similar exterior components.
• Remove oil pans, valve bodies, pumps, wiring harnesses and clutch packs.
• Clean parts using solvents, brushes and scrapers; place parts in baskets for washing.
