Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Jasper, IN seeks a manufacturing associate to perform disassembly, cleaning and preparation of engine components using basic hand tools and solvents. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing 8–10 hours, and following safety guidelines in a climate-controlled facility.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour plus increases based on performance, with PTO after 30 days, 10 paid holidays, quarterly bonuses, and a 401(k) plan with company match and ESOP.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• Stand or walk for 8-10 hours.
• Use handheld tools such as Impacts, Pneumatic Drills, Hammers.
• Walking — Occasionally; Stooping — Occasionally; Reaching/Overhead — Occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble units by removing bolts, seals and exterior components.
• Remove oil pan and uncover internal parts.
• Remove valve body, pumps, wiring harness, clutch packs and other parts.
• Clean parts with solvent and prepare for assembly or washing.
