Job summary

JASPER Engines & Transmissions seeks a Disassembly Associate to expertly take apart gas and diesel engine cores using hand-tools, presses, and a hoist. You will follow work instructions, verify BOM conformity, and remove components without damage while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires physical stamina for long shifts, strong attention to safety, and ability to operate multiple pneumatic and mechanical tools in a loud production setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials up to 50lbs.
• ability to stand or walk 8–10 hours daily, 5–6 days per week.
• Comfort using handheld manual, battery, and pneumatic tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain basic hand-tools and presses as part of engine disassembly.
• Verify core against BOM tag before disassembly; remove external parts and separate case halves.
• Disassemble internal components following Work Instructions; ensure parts are not damaged.
