Job summary

JASPER Engines & Transmissions is seeking a Power Drive: Disassembly technician to perform disassembly and cleaning of power drive units. You will verify BOM tags, remove components, and prepare units for inspection in a climate-controlled facility.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing most of the day, and proficient use of hand tools. Overtime is available, with a starting rate of $20.00 per hour plus experience-based increases.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (approx. 8-10 hours).
• Ability to use handheld tools such as impacts, pneumatic drills, hammers, etc.
• Standing: continuously; walking: occasionally; sitting: never; stooping (forward leaning): occasionally; reaching/working overhead: occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble power drive units by removing bolts, seals and components.
• Remove oil pan to access internal parts and detach valve body, pumps, wiring harness, etc.
• Clean parts with solvent, place parts in baskets, and run them through a washer.
