Job summary

Houston Motorsports Webster is seeking a Powersports Service Manager to lead the service department, oversee technicians and service advisors, and drive quality repairs and customer satisfaction. You will manage workflow, inventory, and department profitability while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on supervision, and experience with service management systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in powersports or automotive service management or a related supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, and personal watercraft.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced retail service environment.
• Proficiency with service management software and basic computer applications.
• Certification from recognized powersports or automotive service organizations (e.g., ASE) is preferred.
• Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) and inventory control software.
• Demonstrated success in improving service department profitability and customer satisfaction scores.
• Strong understanding of warranty processes and manufacturer service guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all service department activities, including scheduling, workflow, and technician assignments to optimize productivity.
• Supervise, train, and develop service staff to ensure high levels of technical expertise and customer service.
• Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction, addressing any issues promptly to maintain positive client relationships.
• Oversee parts inventory and ordering processes to ensure availability of necessary components for repairs and maintenance.
• Prepare and manage service department budgets, analyze financial reports, and implement strategies to improve profitability.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards within the service department.
• Collaborate with sales and parts departments to support overall dealership goals and customer experience.
• Implement and maintain service policies, procedures, and documentation to streamline operations.
