Job summary

Del Amo Motorsports of Redondo Beach is seeking an Experienced Powersports General Sales Manager to lead a multi-line dealership, drive sales, and build a high-performing team. The role requires 7+ years of sales management in powersports and a proven track record.

You will coach staff, manage budgets, and collaborate with the General Manager on advertising, promotions, and pricing strategies while maintaining top customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 7+ motorsports industry experience.
• Ability to manage multiple departments and employees.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Creative problem solving and strategic thinking.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create the annual dealership sales forecasts by estimating total vehicle sales, gross and operating profits as well as expenses for the Sales Departments.
• Meet with Sales Managers to plan and implement objectives for achieving sales and gross profits.
• Hire and monitor the performance of the department managers, holding weekly sales meetings and conducting sales training.
• Oversee standards for displaying and merchandising vehicles as well as reviewing and initiating all promotions before they are finalized.
• Coordinate the appropriate supply of vehicles and ordering/acquiring vehicle inventory accordingly.
• Meet weekly with the dealership's Presidents & General Manager to review forecast and profits for each department.
• Work with the General Manager on recommendations for advertising plans, promotions, staffing needs, and compensation plans.
• Attend to customer complaints, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Issue all demonstration vehicles and maintain appropriate dealership records.
• Forecast goals and objectives for gross and net sales and key expenses and prepare a department budget.
