Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Destin, FL is seeking a Service Specialist to support the Service Department, handle pre-delivery inspections, and assist with warranty repairs for boats, trailers, and parts. You will greet customers, answer questions, and help manage unit inventory and documentation.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Receiving, preparing delivery packets, explaining operation and maintenance to customers, and ensuring all payments are completed before unit release.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete simple math calculations.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers, vendors and fellow associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, management and co-workers.
• Ability to perform various functions within Dealership Management data entry system.

Responsibilities

• Greet new unit delivery, service, warranty and parts customers in a friendly, prompt manner.
• Answer service, warranty and parts questions in person or over the phone.
• Assist Receiving with unloading, inspection and VIN verification of new units.
• Maintain unit inventory status in IDS and assist with inventories.
• Print daily unit delivery schedule for upcoming orientations.
