Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. (AQN), parent company of Liberty, seeks a PowerPlan Applications Administrator in the Boston area. You will manage PowerPlan operations, optimize system performance, and coordinate with SAP S4/Hana to ensure smooth financial lifecycle processes.

Ideal candidates have 4–5 years of PowerPlan Cloud experience, strong SQL skills, and knowledge of fixed assets and utility accounting. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement and competitive compensation.

Formación

• 4-5 years PowerPlan Cloud application experience is a must.
• SAP S4 Hana PPM, PS and/or CO experience is desired.
• Fixed Assets and Depreciation Accounting concepts.
• Regulated Utility Accounting concepts: FERC, NARUC.
• Effective writing and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• SQL knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure seamless operation of the PowerPlan application and optimize functionality.
• Monitor system performance and mitigate issues to minimize risks.
• Support in optimizing SAP S4/Hana and PowerPlan compatibility.
• Lead troubleshooting, analysis, and root cause identification of incidents and implement solutions.
• Respond to alerts and take appropriate action.
• Perform system maintenance by reviewing error logs.
• Maintain test and training environments and refreshes.
• Coordinate system security reviews.
• Develop and deliver targeted training for users.
• Maintain comprehensive, user-centric documentation.
• Lead analysis of system data and metrics to derive insights.
• Identify performance gaps and drive improvements.
• Facilitate Month End Coordination and PowerPlan closing tasks.
