Job summary

Liberty, part of Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp., is seeking a PowerPlan specialist to manage the PowerPlan Cloud application and its users in a regulated utility context. You will optimize asset lifecycle processes, reconcile with SAP S4 Hana, and lead incident resolution with a focus on reliability and compliance.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience with PowerPlan and SAP S4 Hana, and the ability to work under pressure within a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years PowerPlan Cloud application experience is a must.
• SAP S4 Hana PPM, PS and/or CO experience is desired.
• Fixed Assets and Depreciation Accounting concepts.
• Regulated Utility Accounting concepts: FERC, NARUC.
• Advanced Excel capabilities.
• SQL knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the seamless operation of the PowerPlan application while optimizing the system’s functionality to enhance efficiency in fixed asset lifecycle.
• Continuously monitor system performance to identify and mitigate potential issues, ensuring uninterrupted service and minimizing operational risks.
• Lead the troubleshooting, analysis, and root cause identification of incidents, implementing solutions to improve system reliability and proactively enhance operational performance.
• Facilitate Month End Coordination and perform PowerPlan Application Closing tasks.
