Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Formal apprenticeship or 8 years of equivalent training to qualify as Stationary Engineer Journeyman or Industrial Electrician Journeyman.

Responsibilities

• Operate, adjust and maintain utilities equipment to ensure uninterrupted steam, water, gas, and electrical supply for manufacturing and testing in Indianapolis.
• Monitor and service equipment such as boilers, generators, air compressors, pumps, heat exchangers and switchgear.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance, lubricate, inspect, calibrate, replace worn parts, and conduct high voltage switching in local substations.
• Work both indoors and outdoors, in variable weather, often around hazardous conditions and moving machinery.
