Job summary

Mesa Associates, Inc. is seeking a Project Scheduling Coordinator to support utility clients in the Midwest with potential expansion. This role reports to the CSPMO Director and collaborates with project managers, engineers, and client stakeholders to ensure accurate schedules and transparent communication.

The position requires frequent client site visits during forming phases and regular weekly lookahead reporting to summarize progress and upcoming activities. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant project scheduling or coordination experience in engineering, design, or utilities.
• Ability to maintain complex project schedules and provide analytical reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
• Conduct client site visits to align expectations and gather updates.
• Update schedules to align with engineering deliverables and milestones.
• Generate weekly lookahead reports for progress and upcoming tasks.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to assess schedule impacts and resource needs.
• Track projects and communicate updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings to review status, risks, and schedule adjustments.
• Support managers in controlling performance, analyzing variances, and bottlenecks.
• Prepare KPIs, earned value insights, and trend analyses for leadership.
• Maintain documentation for baselines, revisions, and change approvals.
