Job summary

Insight Global seeks a highly organized Materials Coordinator to support electric utility transmission and substation projects. You will act as the liaison between operations, supply chain, and vendors to ensure critical materials are available when and where needed.

The ideal candidate communicates effectively, manages priorities independently, and resolves material constraints that could impact project schedules. Proficiency with Excel and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience coordinating, tracking, or managing materials, inventory, logistics, or supply chain activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for occasional site visits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track materials required for transmission and substation construction and maintenance projects
• Serve as the primary point of contact for material-related issues within an assigned geographic area
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Project Teams, and vendors to support material acquisition and delivery
• Identify and resolve material constraints that could impact project execution timelines
• Monitor inventory, material availability, and delivery schedules
• Support planning and execution activities to ensure projects remain on schedule
• Conduct periodic site visits to support field operations and material coordination efforts
• Maintain accurate records and reporting using company systems and tools
