Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a materials coordinator to support the Power Grid Operations (PGO) organization on a 12-month assignment. You will help coordinate materials for transmission voltage class projects and ensure timely delivery to sites.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and knowledge of material acquisition, delivery, and supply chain concepts, with some exposure to Maximo and Microsoft Office. Hybrid schedule with in-office days.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating materials for transmission projects is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of material acquisition, delivery, and supply chain concepts.
• Familiarity with Maximo and Microsoft Office is advantageous.
• Utility industry exposure is a plus.

Job description

Duration: 12 Months

• This position will report to the Power Grid Operations (PGO) organization to support construction and maintenance activities for substation and transmission line assets.
• This position will be responsible for helping coordinate all activities related to materials needed for transmission voltage class projects.
• This will require engagement with stakeholders from the PGO, Supply Chain or at times directly with material vendors.
• The position will be geographically assigned and the primary point of contact for resolution of materials constraints that could negatively impact the project.

Note:

• Hybrid- 3 days in office, M-F, 8-5 or M-TH, 6 - 5 (i.e., 4-10 schedule).
• Personal vehicle w/ mileage reimbursed
• No overnight travel required, day trips to sites only.
