Job summary
Aggreko plc in Mendon, MA is seeking a Power Technician to install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot and repair power distribution equipment. You will work from the Mendon service center and travel to customer sites, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on generators, diesel engines, switchgear and related systems. The role requires a HS diploma, 3–7 years’ experience, and a valid driver's license. Training programs are provided.
Qualifications
3-7 years of experience working on power generators equipment.
Experience reading schematics and calculating nominal/tonnage or kW requirements.
May be required to obtain TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.
Valid driver’s license required.
Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
Responsibilities
Based at Mendon, MA service center and travel daily in company vehicle.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
Troubleshoot equipment failures at shop and on customer locations, and perform repairs.
Work solo or with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at shop and customer sites.
Occasional overtime, weekend work, and travel may be required.
