Aggreko is seeking a Power Technician based in Mendon, MA to install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and repair power distribution equipment. You’ll travel to customer sites in a company vehicle and work overtime/weekends as needed. A high school diploma and 3–7 years of generator experience are required.
Lifting up to 60 lbs and valid driver's license are expected. You will read schematics, assess kW requirements, and operate with safety as a priority.
Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Power Technician based in Mendon, MA. You’ll perform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of Aggreko's electrical power distribution equipment, including transformers, switchgear, load banks, cables, and related systems. This role supports both field and service center operations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, technical standards, and customer expectations. Power without pause. Availability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts. Must be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices. Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead level. Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand‑eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or ladders. Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post‑offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs.), push/pull (80 lbs.), carry (60 lbs.), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs.), stoop, kneel and squat.
