Job summary

Aggreko, LLC in Sayreville, NJ is seeking a Technician 1 Power to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, and oil-free air compressors. Based at the Sayreville service center, you will travel locally in a company vehicle, with potential overtime, weekends, and occasional travel.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of hands-on experience, ability to read schematics, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience working on power generators equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements; reading schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations.
• Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites, either solo or with a technician team.
