Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Power Technician based in Mendon, MA. You will install, commission, service, troubleshoot, test and repair power distribution gear including transformers, switchgear, load banks, cables, and related systems. Mix of field and service-center work with local travel in company vehicle.

Your role requires 3-7 years on power generator equipment, the ability to read schematics, and a readiness for overtime, with strong safety and customer‑facing standards.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience working on power generators equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Based in Mendon, MA service center and travel daily in company vehicle.
• Work overtime and weekends with potential for travel.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, and oil‑free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at shop and customer locations, and perform repairs.
• Operate solo or with teammates to set up and run equipment at shop and client sites.
