Job summary

Aggreko in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Technician 1 Power to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, HVAC equipment, and related systems. You’ll troubleshoot at the shop or on customer sites and help set up equipment for field work, sometimes working solo or with a team.

Requirements include a High School diploma/GED, 4+ years of experience on generators or commercial HVAC, ability to read schematics, a valid driver’s license, and the capacity to lift up to

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 4+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to read schematics and understand electrical and mechanical systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations; handle repairs.
• Set up and operate equipment on customer sites, solo or with a team.
• Maintain safety and quality standards while working with brand-new technology.
