Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Technician 1 Power based in Baltimore, MD. You will maintain and repair power generators, HVAC equipment and related systems, with responsibilities including on-site setup, troubleshooting and working either solo or with a team at customer locations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience with power gen or commercial HVAC systems. Valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance and repairs.
• Experience calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, and reading schematics.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card depending on assignment.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to move or lift objects up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Based in Baltimore, MD at the service center.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC gear and oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at shop or on customer sites and perform repairs.
• May work solo or with a team to set up and operate equipment at customer locations.
