Job summary

Aggreko, LLC in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on power generators, HVAC systems, chillers and related equipment. The role involves traveling daily in a company vehicle to customer sites and working overtime as needed.

You will troubleshoot faults, read electrical schematics, and participate in technical training programs. A high school diploma or GED and 2+ years hands-on experience are required, with a valid driver’s license and ability

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience with diesel/natural gas generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, chillers, including inspections, maintenance and repairs
• Able to read electrical schematics and interpret nominal vs. effective tonnage or kW requirements
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain required DOT-related credentials as needed

Responsibilities

• Based out of Cleveland, OH service center, traveling daily to customer sites in a company vehicle
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on generators, electrical distribution, chillers, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at shop and on customer sites and diagnose/repair as needed
• Set up and operate equipment independently or with other technicians, in shop or on site
• Work overtime and weekends as needed with potential travel to support operations
