Job summary

Aggreko in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Technician 1 Temp Control to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and oil-free air compressors at our service center.

You may work alone or with other technicians to set up and operate equipment on customer sites, troubleshoot failures, and ensure reliable operation for events, mining operations or remote communities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 4+ years working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment; inspections, maintenance and repairs.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements; reading schematics.

Responsibilities

• Based in the Baltimore, MD service center.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at shop and customer sites; perform repairs.
• Work solo or with a team to set up and operate equipment on customer sites.
