Job summary

GE Vernova, through Consulting Services, seeks an Integrated Solutions Applications Engineer to design and derisk complex power systems, including data centers and large hybrid setups. You will own architecture, perform studies, and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project success.

The role requires deep power systems knowledge, turbine experience, and the ability to translate reliability requirements into concrete designs while traveling up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications

• The candidate has a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or power systems engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in engineering, product management or related fields.
• 3+ years delivering projects on-time and on-budget as individual contributor or PM.
• 3+ years experience with gas turbine, combined-cycle, or turbomachinery application engineering.
• Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Design integrated solutions architecture and develop maintenance of SLDs for GE Vernova systems.
• Evaluate architectures, perform studies and simulations for performance and reliability.
• Define equipment LCOE and operational interfaces with business units; support reliability analyses.
• Lead onsite generation report definition and customer meetings coordination.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts across engineering, sales, and product development.
• Support and interpret turbine studies to inform system design and optimization decisions.
• Standardize solutions with reference architectures for repeatable applications.
• Interface with utilities and ISOs to ensure compliance and identify collaboration opportunities.
