Job summary

Scott Electric Company is seeking a Service Manager to lead the generator service department in the United States, ensuring safe, efficient maintenance, repair, testing, commissioning, and emergency services for industrial power systems.

You will oversee technicians, coordinate schedules, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement while upholding safety standards and OSHA requirements. In-person leadership role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of generator service or industrial electrical operations experience.
• Experience leading field service teams across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily generator service operations, preventive maintenance, repairs, and emergency responses.
• Coordinate technician schedules, dispatch, and resource allocation.
• Oversee workflows to ensure on-time, on-budget completion and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians, engineers, and customers.
• Manage, coach, and develop field staff; support training and certifications.
• Review timecards, quotes, and service orders; report performance.
