AES Corporation in the United States is offering a co-op engineer opportunity for Summer 2027 on the AES Ohio Relay/Protection and Control Engineering team. The internship provides practical engineering experience related to protection and control of electrical power systems.

You will work alongside staff engineers on calculations, coordination studies, short-circuit studies, and relay logic. Strong analytical and organizational skills are valued for success.

Formación

• Student pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Sophomore or higher academic standing preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Work with staff engineers on electrical calculations and protection studies.
• Develop protective relay logic and settings for AES Ohio transmission systems.
• Complete additional assignments as directed by supervisor.
