Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer - Project Manager in Engineering Services to deliver solutions that protect and control critical electrical infrastructure worldwide.

You will lead projects through bid to close-out, manage scope, schedule and budget, and serve as a trusted advisor to customers. The role requires 5+ years of project management experience, a BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, and travel at least 25%.

Qualifications

• Experience managing projects through their lifecycle from bid to close-out.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally at least 25%.
• Knowledge of electric power system protection, control, integration and/or automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to ensure scope, schedule and budget are met with high quality and safety.
• Prepare and maintain scoping, scheduling, and budgeting documents.
• Use project performance metrics to forecast performance and generate stakeholder reports.
• Identify, measure and improve project and procedural deficiencies.
• Lead projects related to design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning and operation of automation and/or protection systems.
