Job summary

SEL Engineering Services, Inc. (SEL-ES) seeks a Power Systems Project Manager in our St. Louis Branch. You will manage full life-cycle projects from proposal to commissioning, with regional travel up to 25%, ensuring scope, schedule and budget alignment.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in electric power project management, strong writing and communication skills, and a PE license or equivalent. You will mentor staff and work with marketing, sales, application engineering and development teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience related to electric power systems
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
• Ability to mentor and develop staff and work with cross-functional teams
• PE License or equivalent certification

Responsibilities

• Own full life-cycle project management from proposal conception to commissioning and close-out for multiple large, multi-discipline projects
• Track and stabilize projects, overcome obstacles, and anticipate customer needs related to SEL products
• Train and assist customers with design, configuration, validations, installation, commissioning and operation of automation and protection systems
• Travel regionally up to 25% and manage scope, schedule and budget to a high level of quality and safety
