Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, Inc. is seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer - Power to support design, analysis, implementation, commissioning, and protection & control of power systems for industrial facilities, commercial projects, and generation, transmission, and distribution infrastructure.

Work is performed under the guidance of a Senior Electrical Engineer. The role includes traveling to remote sites and collaborating on projects, with a focus on developing power distribution solutions

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering preferred; equivalent considered.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement power system solutions for industrial, commercial, and T&D infrastructure.
Prepare diagrams (one-line, three-line, loop) and control panel designs.
Develop relay protection settings and perform protective relaying studies.
Travel up to 10–25% to client sites for project execution.
Support testing and commissioning of relays and associated equipment.
Assist with quality plans, RFIs, and project documentation.
