Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years in electric power systems, and is willing to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline is required.
• 2+ years of experience with electric power systems, practices, and focus area philosophies.
• Knowledge of power system protection, control, automation, and communications.
• Experience with electric power system design, studies, ICT, and protective relays.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally at least 25%.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Able to learn new skills and take on responsibilities.
• Able to work cooperatively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Possesses and applies core concepts of power system focus area and SEL products.
• Train and assist customers with design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation of automation and/or protection systems.
• Complete work within scope, schedule, and budget with high quality and safety.
• Assist in preparing functional design specifications.
• Prepare and maintain detailed design documents and reports.
