MISO is seeking an Engineer II - Generation Interconnection to support the interconnection of new energy resources. You will perform power system studies, evaluate proposed resources and HVDC facilities, and collaborate with customers and internal teams to address technical challenges and move projects forward.

In this role, you will have opportunities to manage projects, improve processes, and take ownership of work that directly supports grid reliability.

Competenze

• 2 years: experience in power system planning, operations, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline as listed.

Mansioni

• Lead critical power system studies, including interconnection and HVDC-related work.
• Support generation interconnection studies within MISO and neighboring systems.
• Review and evaluate projects proposed by Transmission Owners with technical recommendations.
• Represent MISO in internal and external committees and working groups.
• Apply engineering judgment to develop timely and compliant solutions.
