Burns & McDonnell is seeking Engineering Interns in Denver, CO who will perform tasks applying standard engineering techniques, assist lead engineers, and support project duties across markets, starting with the Power market focus on design and updates.
Qualified students pursue Bachelor’s degrees in Chemical, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, with ABET preferred, enrolled in post-secondary programs in good standing, a 3.0+ GPA, and strong communication and leadership skills.
Our Engineering Interns are responsible for performing tasks requiring the application of standard engineering techniques and procedures. This includes standard design of engineering systems, correcting and updating designs, assisting lead engineers with various project duties, and other duties assigned.

Power
The Power group is responsible for the planning, design, and startup of power generation and decarbonization technologies. This includes gas turbines, utility-scale battery storage, hydrogen electrolysis, carbon capture technologies, solar, and nuclear plant services.
$19.00-39.00 Hourly
The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The final agreed upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location.
