DVL Group, Inc. in the Philadelphia area seeks an Inside Sales Engineer for Power Systems Sales.

You will support the Power Sales team, visit customer sites, prepare quotations, manage projects and forecast opportunities with a pathway to an outside Sales Engineer role with commissions. Responsibilities include maintaining project forecasts, supporting contractor relationships in PA/NJ/DE, and coordinating start-up and delivery of power services.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required to communicate in engineering terms with customers/engineers.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Visio for schematics and drawings.
• Desire and ability to move into an outside sales engineer position.
• Familiarity with NEC/NFPA 70E and OSHA related codes.
• Proven professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License to visit customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Learn and stay up to date with the power systems equipment the company sells and maintains.
• Research, create and maintain the project forecasting report in HubSpot CRM and manufacturers’ portals.
• Support Power Sales Team in building relationships with electrical contractors and engineers in PA, NJ and DE.
• Participate in monthly sales meetings and provide accurate forecasting reports.
• Maintain safety certifications as required for onsite work.
• Monitor monthly commission reports for accuracy and notify manufacturers and Accounting of discrepancies.
• Coordinate startup, commissioning and delivery of power services or third-party services.
• Serve as point of contact for manufacturer projects and service needs.
• Create, coordinate and assist sales with proposals, maintenance reports, and O&M documentation.
