Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to oversee electrical power distribution upgrades in North America. You will manage the full lifecycle from project identification through implementation, coordinating with external engineers and contractors to meet safety and reliability standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with power systems, strong project management, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software).
• Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in distribution or manufacturing in electrical/mechanical fields.
• Knowledge of switchgear, UPS, transformers and circuit breakers.

Responsibilities

• Identify sites and develop conceptual designs for upgrades of low and medium voltage distribution systems.
• Partner with electrical engineering firms and contractors to implement compliant solutions.
• Perform project estimates and ROI calculations.
• Secure and oversee funding of projects/programs.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Support operations, construction, and testing with product development.
