Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager to lead the development, deployment and sustaining of power equipment, firmware updates, and related initiatives for AWS data centers in a cross-functional environment.

You will drive large-scale hardware deployments, coordinate across internal customers and hardware/software teams, and measure improvements using data-driven metrics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 4+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, deployment and sustaining of power equipment, firmware updates, and related initiatives for our next generation data centers in a highly cross-functional environment.
• Provide program management leadership in the application of new technologies to enable large scale hardware deployments in a continuous effort to deliver a world-class customer experience.
• Drive teams inside and outside the organization to deliver complex cross-functional programs with high impact to the organization.
• Using data and key metrics, you will drive and measure process improvements that enhance our operational effectiveness.
• You will work independently in a dynamic, challenging, and fast-changing organization.
