Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of LV/MV switchgear, ATS, UPS, and PLC controls.

You will diagnose issues, support startups, and ensure customer systems operate reliably. The role requires 3–5 years of field experience with power systems and electrical equipment, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication to work with customers and teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
• NFPA 70E, OSHA 30, or other relevant technical certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, including LV/MV switchgear and PLC controls.
• Conduct system diagnostics and address technical issues to minimize downtime and optimize operation.
• Assist with system startups and commissioning to ensure operations meet customer specifications.
