Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including LV/MV switchgear, ATS, UPS, and PLC controls.

The role will involve diagnostics, commissioning, and supporting startups to meet customer specifications. Required are 3–5 years of hands-on field service experience in power systems, plus a high school diploma and preferred associate's degree in electrical engineering.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on field service experience focused on power systems, electrical equipment or industrial controls.
• Experience with troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of electrical systems, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• Proficiency with field service management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Good communication skills and ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
• Ability to work independently and manage service priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with low and medium voltage electrical systems.
• Basic experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and protective relay systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• On-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment including LV/MV switchgear and PLC controls.
• Conduct system diagnostics and address technical issues to minimize downtime and optimize operation.
• Support system startups and commissioning to ensure systems are operational and meet customer specs.
