Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of LV/MV switchgear, transformers, ATS, UPS, PLCs, and related power equipment.

This role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience with electrical systems and industrial controls. You will conduct system diagnostics, address technical issues to minimize downtime, support system startups and commissioning, and ensure installations meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

3–5 years of hands-on field service experience in power systems or industrial controls.
High school diploma; associate degree preferred; NFPA 70E/OSHA 30 certifications a plus.
Proficient in diagnosing and repairing LV/MV electrical equipment and transformers.
Excellent communication to explain issues to customers and document work.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

On-site troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of electrical systems including transformers, LV/MV switchgear, and PLC controls.
Conduct system diagnostics and address issues to minimize downtime.
Support startups and commissioning to ensure systems meet customer specifications.
