Job summary

POWERX is seeking entry-level Field Service Technicians as part of the POWERX National Technician Development Program. You will undergo five weeks of paid, structured classroom and hands-on training covering workplace electrical safety, power systems fundamentals, schematic reading, protection and control, and relay testing before deploying to customer sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, preferred associate degree or technical certificate.
• Willingness to pursue industry certifications (NETA, NFPA 70E, OSHA 30) with company support.
• Travels nationwide to customer sites; strong safety awareness essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with electrical field testing, commissioning, and service activities on power systems equipment.
• Perform test points and procedures; progress to more independent testing with experience.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of test results in Office/Excel.
