Job summary

POWERX in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Field Service Technician – Development Program. This full-time, entry-level role starts with five weeks of paid classroom and hands-on training before deploying to customer sites nationwide.

In the field, you’ll perform electrical test, commissioning, and service activities on power systems equipment, starting with basic tasks and progressing toward certifications, with opportunities to specialize in testing, protection and controls, or commissioning.

Qualifications

• Entry-level Field Service Technician role in a nationwide program.
• Must be able to complete five weeks of paid training before field deployment.
• Progress toward professional certifications such as NETA.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical field testing, commissioning, and service activities on power systems equipment at customer sites.
• Perform basic measurements and support acceptance and maintenance testing.
• Advance to independent tasks as experience and certifications grow.
