Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician - Development Program participant. You will undergo five weeks of paid classroom and hands-on training covering safety, power systems, schematic reading, protection and control, testing, and relay testing before field deployment.

In the field, you will support senior technicians with electrical testing, commissioning, and service activities at customer sites nationwide, progressing to independent work and certifications, including NETA, over time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree or technical training preferred.
• 0-1 years field testing experience; entry-level with guidance.
• Willingness to travel extensively and pass background/MVR checks.
• Interest in pursuing industry certifications (NETA) with company support.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with electrical field testing and commissioning at customer sites.
• Perform test points, data logging, and maintenance testing under supervision; advance with experience.
