Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Lead Engineer who will guide a multi‑discipline team in delivering advanced power quality solutions and FACTS projects. You will ensure projects align with schedules, budgets, and safety standards while coordinating across design, electrical, mechanical, and studies groups.

Candidate requirements include an engineering degree and 2–3 years in leadership, plus 3–5 years managing large EPC turnkey efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical).
• 2–3 years in leadership roles such as line or project management.
• 3–5 years of experience managing large EPC turnkey projects.
• Experience with HV substations or FACTS projects is a plus.
• PMP certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Project Lead Engineers to deliver high‑quality power quality solutions.
• Oversee project execution to meet schedule, cost, safety and quality requirements.
• Coordinate engineering activities across disciplines: system design, electrical, mechanical, controls, and studies.
• Collaborate with global teams to support project delivery and organizational goals.
• Drive continuous improvement and support strategic initiatives like Scale-to-Potential.
