Job summary

GHD is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Design & Delivery Organization for the upcoming summer. You will assist Engineers and Project Managers on Power System projects and gain hands-on experience in data gathering, studies, CADD drawing support, and cost estimation.

The role offers a hybrid work model with three days in-office, collaboration, and growth opportunities within a global professional services firm.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to learn and apply theory in practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers and Project Managers on Power System projects.
• Gather and compile data for analyses and design work.
• Perform engineering studies to support project deliverables.
• Assist with CADD drawings to support design packages.
• Develop facilities layouts, schematics and schedules.
• Perform design calculations for systems and components.
• Conduct cost estimates for project tasks.
