GHD is seeking a Mechanical Facilities Engineering Intern to join our Engineering Design Organization. You will work with senior mechanical engineers on industrial piping projects and the design of manufacturing facilities and ventilation systems.

The role offers a hybrid work model with three days in the office, and a path to grow within a global network of engineers and environmental scientists committed to delivering sustainable solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong interest in solid body mechanics, thermal fluids and heat transfer.
• Willingness to travel and work in the field as needed.

Aufgaben

• Determine material of construction for piping and storage tank systems.
• Perform hydraulic calculations for fluid transfer systems.
• Develop specifications for pumps, compressors, blowers and ventilation systems.
